The people who created the private Face Book group, Processing Horace Mann, have set up a website. Its mission is described as follows:
The Processing Horace Mann Facebook group was set up in the wake of the NY Times article about sexual abuse at Horace Mann. It has developed into a place for people to process lots of complicated feelings about HM. The site is only made available to alumni and former students of Horace Mann School in the Bronx. Currently, there are over 2,150 members of this “secret” group.
If you are unfamiliar with the Processing HM FaceBook group, it includes almost 2,500 HM alum who are ‘processing’ together, an amazingly powerful force. Any HM alum who are not members, but want to be, use the website’s enrollment form, or email and we can assist.
Like this site, ProcessingHoraceMann.com is growing as we move forward. On the site is a video interview with Amos Kamil, in which he provides background for the New York Times article. While you explore the site, be sure to watch the video.
